In this world wide study more than 550 of the male patients were treated for over a year, and out of the 3700, patients there was 2 percent of the patients that reported adverse effects until the dosage was lowered.

Anther study that was done were the patients were given fixed dosages, out of these men the ones that were given a fixed dosage of 100mg, in which there was complaints of dyspepsia by approximately seventeen percent and abnormal vision by eleven percent of the men.

These same complaints were not as common with men that were taking lower fixed dosages of the erectile dysfunction medication. There were some other complaints that were to low of a percentage to record, these included face edema, chills, abdominal pain, allergic reaction, chest pain and accidental injury. Since, this was a large clinical trial involving many men at fixed rate dosages, when the dosage was lowered for the men on 100 mg, the side effects experienced diminished or went away.
