ED and Cirrhosis Of The Liver
Cirrhosis of the liver is a very serious and well-known medical condition that is most commonly acquired in the individual that has chosen to continuously consume large amounts of alcoholic beverages over a long period of time. It is a life threatening disease that has caused the deaths of hundreds of men and women every single year, and the numbers in deaths that are contributed to this disease, consistently continue to climb higher and higher. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is one of a variety of different problems that a male individual can experience when they have been diagnosed with this particular type of disease. Damage that is ultimately caused to the liver by fibrosis, or a scarring that forms on this very important organ of the body, can eventually cause a male to suffer from ED. This well known condition prevents men from being able to obtain a strong enough erection that is needed to engage in sexual intercourse with their partner. ED is a condition that many men experience, even when they have not been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, yet they choose to drink alcohol regularly. Continuous alcohol consumption is also a known contributor to this bothersome condition.
