Levitra Verses Viagra What Are The Differences?
Both Levitra and Viagra are manufactured, FDA approved and prescribed for male erectile dysfunction. There are some differences in the medications, this includes the amount of time it takes for them to take effect, Viagra is estimated to begin working in thirty minutes to an hour. Levitra is estimated to work between fifteen and thirty minutes, making this the better choice for unplanned intimate encounters.
Lavitra is prescribed in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg, while Viagra dosages are much larger starting at 20 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg. There is also a difference in who the medicine can be prescribed for, it is not recommended with Viagra to prescribe it for patients with high blood pressure, where Levitra is able to be prescribed for patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and patients with diabetes.
Both medications last approximately the same amount of time, which is four to five hours, and each can be delayed by eating fatty foods.
Pregnant women cannot handle Viagra if broken or crushed, because it can cause birth defects in male fetus genitals. Levitra in studies has not shown any association with women and birth defects.
