The Link Between Obesity and ED
Numerous research projects and studies have been conducted that has successfully linked the problems that an endless number of men suffer from in having erectile dysfunction (ED), and the physical condition of obesity. The link between the male individual who has problems with obesity, then experiences the symptoms of ED, arises when a resistance of insulin begins to stop taking place in the body. This is a problem that occurs when the normal levels of insulin are no longer able to sufficiently generate an adequate insulin response within the body. This resistance is a result of the damage that is most often caused to the normal functioning of the endothelial, in the male individuals who are obese. This is a problem that will begin to cause irritation and then lessen the normal amount of expansion and contraction that is normally supposed to occur in the lining of many of the healthy blood vessels within the body. The result not only can cause the individual to end up suffering from the frustrating symptoms that are caused by ED, but they can also end up experiencing cardiovascular problems as well. Obesity is also a known factor for causing heart conditions that also cause erectile dysfunction.
