Cialis Can Help With Prostrate Problems

Studies have shown that an enlarged prostrate gland can cause several problems for men. For instance, having to constantly wake up in the middle of sleep to go to the bathroom. It is also reported that sexual performance declines with the enlarging prostrate and its growing severity. But new research shows that a daily dose of Cialis (Tadalafil) may help relieve symptoms related to enlarged prostrate (also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH).The study was actually funded by the company that owns rights to the drug tadalafil (Cialis), Eli Lilly. This particular study involved over 1,000 men in at least 10 countries. These men stated having symptoms from BPH for at least six months, with or without a history of erectile dysfunctin. At first, all were give a placebo pill for about 4 weeks, then they were split into 5 groups and each group was given a different medication or a different dose of the Cialis. Researchers were impressed to find that the enlarged prostrate-related symptoms on the score chart significantly improved. They were monitored at 4, 8, and 12 week markers. BPH is most common in men over age 50, and progresses from there to about 90% over age 80.
