The Vicious Cycle of ED and Psychological Issues?
Erectile dysfunction, otherwise known as ED is a condition that can cause a wide variety of negative feelings in not only the male individual who is suffering from this frustrating condition, but also in the partner of that individual. Whether psychological issues have caused the condition, or if it is the result of physiological problems, the final result often remains the same, and that is a negative impact that will many times result that with feelings of low self-esteem, as well as a feeling of hopelessness. To make matters even worse in the men who suffer from ED, the insecurity that many of them feel will often make the symptoms of the condition even that much worse, and this in turn can heighten any feelings the individual may have of sexual inadequacy, embarrassment, and even a much higher level of self-esteem issues. What generally ends up happening is that a vicious cycle begins to occur. When these negative and often serious feelings begin to have such an extreme impact on a person who suffers from ED, they will often completely avoid any type of sexual relationship. Although this can be a very hard condition to deal with, there is help available.
