Can Propecia Help With Receding Temple Hair Lines?
There have been studies done for extended amounts of time that have proven Propecia is an effective drug for re-growing hair in men with male pattern baldness. What this means is men that are balding on the top of the head or mid scalp, Propecia can help the hair follicles to begin producing hair again.
What these studies did not include or prove is if Propecia is able to start the growth of hair in spots where the hair has receded on the temple areas. There is also no proof from these studies that the use of Propecia will not help to re-grow hair on males that have receding hairlines.
The thing that Propecia can do for men that have receding hairlines even though it is not proven if the hair will begin growing again is that it will stop hair loss. This is because hair loss is created by an over production of hormones known as androgens, these hormones cause the hair follicles to shrink and stop growing hair. The hair that has grown from these follicles will die and fall out, leaving no new hair to grow in its place.
