Levitra and Weight Loss Study

Levitra was studied among men that were considered to be extremely overweight, and suffering from erectile dysfunction, the findings were later published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

This study that was conducted included 110 obese men, the men were required to eat healthy foods, exercise and were given the medication for erectile dysfunction Levitra. The study followed the men and after two years had found the men that had stayed with the program had lost an average of 33 pounds.

Men of any age can suffer from erectile dysfunction, although it is more common in men between the ages of 40 to 65. This study included men that were between the ages of 35 and 55, at least one third of the men also stated they were more sexually active with the use of the erectile dysfunction medication.

This study shows that men suffering from erectile dysfunction and weight concerns actually lost weight while being sexually active and exercising. Levitra is one of the erectile medications that can be used with some of the health conditions that can affect men that are over weight, like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.
