Can Women Take Levitra?
The FDA approved erectile dysfunction medication has not been approved for use in the female body, and is not prescribed for women currently. While it may work for women in opening blood flow to the genitals, there have not been studies and testing done to prove its effectiveness or safety. This means at this time women should not take Levitra, without their doctor’s approval.
This means that women should not take the drug without consulting their gynecologist first and there are no solid facts to prove what the effects might be with its use. Women’s sexual satisfaction is more complex than the male satisfaction of obtaining an erection and while it might work successfully for orgasm there may not be total satisfaction.
Levitra has been tested in many clinical trials to be effective in the temporary relief of meal erectile dysfunction. This medication has been proven to be one of the FDA medications that can be used even by men with some health conditions that other erectile dysfunction medications cannot be prescribed. These men included are suffering from conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and even diabetes that other impotency medications cannot be prescribed, either because of the medical condition or the medications being taken.
